1. Introductory provisions

1.1 These terms and conditions govern the legal relationship between the operator of the advertising website ŠportAuto.sk (the “Operator”) and the users of this website (the “User” or “Users”).

1.2 The Operator is Andrej Hanták, registered office Pod kaštieľom 641/38, 018 41 Dubnica nad Váhom, Slovak Republic, Company ID (IČO): 55701868, Tax ID (DIČ): 1128253511, registered in the Trade Register of the District Office Trenčín under No. 350-49989. Contact: info@sportauto.sk, +421 948 381 450.

1.3 A User is any natural or legal person who uses the services of the ŠportAuto.sk website, in particular by adding listings, ordering paid services or creating a user account.

2. User registration

2.1 Listings can be added with or without registration. A User without registration receives an 8-character code after adding a listing, which is used to manage the listing (edit, renew, promote, delete). The User is responsible for keeping the code safe.

2.2 Registration is free of charge. The User undertakes to provide true and complete information and to protect their login details against misuse. The Verified seller service can only be ordered with a registered account.

2.3 The Operator processes Users’ personal data in accordance with Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the Protection of Personal Data and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR).

3. Adding listings

3.1 Adding listings to the ŠportAuto.sk website is free of charge.

3.2 The website is intended for advertising sports, luxury and exceptional passenger cars. The listing types are: Sale and Rent.

3.3 A listing for sale is published for 30 days. After this period it is no longer shown in the search results and the User can renew it free of charge for another 30 days. A rental listing has no time limit.

3.4 A maximum of 10 photos in JPG, PNG or WEBP format can be added to a listing. The User may only publish photos to which they hold the rights.

3.5 Listings must comply with the applicable laws of the Slovak Republic, in particular Act No. 40/1964 Coll., the Civil Code, and Act No. 513/1991 Coll., the Commercial Code.

4. Listing promotion and paid services

4.1 Listings can be promoted for a fee with the Highlight service (the listing has a distinctive frame in the search results) or the TOP listing service (the listing is shown at the top of the results with a TOP label). A registered User can also order the Verified seller service.

4.2 Current prices and conditions of the paid services are listed on the Listing promotion page and in the order window. The Operator is not a VAT payer; prices are final.

4.3 Promotion lasts for the selected number of days from activation and ends automatically when this period expires. If the User cancels the promotion earlier, the amount paid is not refunded.

5. Payment terms

5.1 Paid services are paid by bank transfer to the Operator’s account. After sending the order, the User receives the payment details by e-mail: the amount, IBAN, variable symbol and order number.

5.2 The service will be activated within 12 hours after the payment is credited to the Operator’s account. The User will be informed of the activation by e-mail. If the payment does not include the correct variable symbol, its matching and the activation of the service may be delayed.

5.3 The Operator is not responsible for payment delays caused by the User’s bank.

5.4 The Operator does not issue invoices for payments. The confirmation e-mails that the User receives after sending the order and after the service is activated serve as proof of the order and of the activation of the service.

5.5 A User who is a consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason within 14 days of its conclusion. Before sending the order, by ticking the relevant box the User expressly agrees that the provision of the service will begin before this period expires and acknowledges that once the service has been fully provided, they lose the right to withdraw from the contract. The order confirmation that the User receives by e-mail also serves as confirmation of the conclusion of the contract and of this consent. The consent, together with the date and time it was given, is stored with the order.

6. Rights and obligations of users

6.1 The User must provide true and complete information in listings, in particular about the condition, year of manufacture and mileage of the vehicle.

6.2 The User may only advertise a vehicle that they are entitled to sell or rent.

6.3 The User may not add listings that are contrary to the applicable laws of the Slovak Republic or good morals or that threaten public order.

6.4 The User is responsible for the content of their listings and undertakes to correct any errors or shortcomings brought to their attention by the Operator.

6.5 Only registered Users can add reviews. A review must be truthful and must not contain vulgar, offensive or advertising statements.

7. Rights and obligations of the operator

7.1 The Operator has the right to remove or edit a listing or review that is contrary to these terms and conditions or the applicable laws of the Slovak Republic.

7.2 The Operator has the right to temporarily or permanently restrict a User’s access to the services of the ŠportAuto.sk website if these terms and conditions are breached.

7.3 The Operator is not responsible for the content of listings published by Users and is not a party to any transactions or contracts concluded between Users.

8. Personal data protection

8.1 The Operator processes Users’ personal data in accordance with the applicable legislation, in particular Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the Protection of Personal Data and the GDPR. Details are provided in the Privacy policy and the Cookie policy.

8.2 The User has the right to access their personal data, to have it corrected or erased, and other rights under the GDPR.

9. Complaints and dispute resolution

9.1 The User may submit complaints about paid services by e-mail to info@sportauto.sk. The Operator will handle the complaint without undue delay, no later than 30 days after receiving it.

9.2 A User who is a consumer has the right to contact the Operator with a request for redress. If the Operator rejects the request or does not respond within 30 days, the consumer may submit a proposal for alternative dispute resolution to an alternative dispute resolution body, for example the Slovak Trade Inspection (www.soi.sk).

10. Final provisions

10.1 These terms and conditions become valid and effective on the day of their publication on the ŠportAuto.sk website.

10.2 The Operator reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Users will be informed of changes via the ŠportAuto.sk website.

10.3 Legal relationships not expressly governed by these terms and conditions are governed by the relevant provisions of Act No. 40/1964 Coll., the Civil Code, Act No. 513/1991 Coll., the Commercial Code, and consumer protection legislation.

These terms and conditions comply with the laws of the Slovak Republic and serve to protect the rights and obligations of both contracting parties.

These terms and conditions take effect on 7 October 2026.
