1. Introductory provisions

1.1 This document sets out the terms of the disclaimer of liability (the “Disclaimer”) relating to the use of the ŠportAuto.sk website (the “Website”).

1.2 The operator of the Website is Andrej Hanták, registered office Pod kaštieľom 641/38, 018 41 Dubnica nad Váhom, Slovak Republic, Company ID (IČO): 55701868, Tax ID (DIČ): 1128253511, registered in the Trade Register of the District Office Trenčín under No. 350-49989 (the “Operator”).

2. Content of listings

2.1 The Website allows Users to publish listings for the sale and rental of sports, luxury and exceptional passenger cars.

2.2 The Operator is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of the information in listings, in particular information about the condition, history, year of manufacture, mileage, equipment and price of the vehicle.

2.3 The User who publishes a listing is solely responsible for its content and for any consequences resulting from untrue or inaccurate information.

2.4 The Operator is neither the seller nor the lessor of the vehicles offered and is not a party to contracts concluded between Users. The Website serves only as an advertising space. We recommend always inspecting the vehicle in person before buying or renting it, checking its history and the identity of the seller, and not sending deposits to unverified persons.

2.5 The authors of reviews are responsible for their content. Ratings of sellers and vehicles express the opinion of Users, not of the Operator.

2.6 The Verified seller badge is a paid service. It does not mean that the Operator has checked individual vehicles or that it guarantees the seller’s conduct.

3. Legal obligations and breaches

3.1 To the extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for any direct or indirect damage that Users or third parties may suffer as a result of using the Website.

3.2 The User undertakes to use the Website in accordance with the applicable laws of the Slovak Republic and good morals.

3.3 The Operator is not liable for breaches of the law that may occur as a result of listings published on the Website. If it becomes aware of such a listing, it will remove it.

4. Technical problems and availability of the Website

4.1 The Operator strives to ensure the continuous availability of the Website and its services but does not guarantee that the Website will be available without interruption or errors.

4.2 The Operator is not liable for damage caused by technical problems, system outages or other failures that may affect the availability or functionality of the Website.

5. External links

5.1 The Website may contain links to external third-party websites, for example to sellers’ websites or to maps.

5.2 The Operator is not responsible for the content and functionality of the external websites to which the links lead. The User is obliged to read the terms of use and privacy policies of these external websites.

6. Advertising and promotion

6.1 The Operator may display advertisements on the Website and promote listings for a fee (Highlight, TOP listing).

6.2 The Operator is not responsible for the content and accuracy of advertisements and promoted listings published on the Website.

7. Personal data protection

7.1 The Operator processes Users’ personal data in accordance with Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the Protection of Personal Data and the GDPR. Details are provided in the Privacy policy.

7.2 To the extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for any misuse of Users’ personal data by third parties resulting from unauthorised access or other security incidents that occurred despite the security measures taken. Contact details that Users publish in a listing themselves are publicly available.

8. Changes and updates

8.1 The Operator reserves the right to change or update this Disclaimer at any time.

8.2 The User is obliged to check this document regularly in order to be familiar with its current wording.

8.3 By continuing to use the Website, the User agrees to the current wording of the Disclaimer.

9. Final provisions

9.1 Legal relationships not governed by this document are governed by the relevant provisions of Act No. 40/1964 Coll., the Civil Code, and Act No. 513/1991 Coll., the Commercial Code.

9.2 The provisions of this document do not limit the rights granted to consumers by consumer protection legislation.

This document serves to protect the Operator and Users and sets out clear rules and conditions for using the ŠportAuto.sk website.

These terms take effect on 7 October 2026.
